Well, I did add to my goals, but these are more for the year then just this round, though they fall within my Round 1 goals also:
Read more of the books I own and buy less. (I own a lot of books, I mean, a lllllot). I'll post a picture some time.
Read 50-year-old books, i.e., books published in 1962. (This stems from having read Catch-22 and The Moviegoer last year, both their 50th year since publication - a fact I was unaware of when I started Catch, but discovered later about Moviegoer).

I've heard great things about Catch-22. I just started making lists of books I own but haven't read yet on Goodreads and it is... alarmingly high so far. Good luck with the rest of the week!
Interesting goals. I find most older books I read-- My Side Of the Mountain, The Island of the Blue Dolphins, Anne of Green Gables, (can you tell I write MG and YA), start off more slowly than the trending current books. I feel like they capture the climate of the times, whether deliberately or not. Our culture is so fast paced, no wonder our books start out with a bang!
What an interesting goal, to read books 50 years old!
Good luck!
I still have books I own that I haven't read yet. And I still want to read them, just haven't wanted to pick them up at bedtime, cause I know I'll stay up way too late reading. So I pick up old favorites first, then finish them next day, where I am stuck at bedtime again.
Good idea to pick up more of the older books for checking out the difference in pacing and narrative styles. Though I need to read more of the newest books, too. I tend to not pick stuff up until a few years after they come out, when the buzz is gone.
